About Parque Shambala

In a sacred valley nestled between two 16,000 ft.   Volcanoes   in Ecuador lies the town of Cotacachi,  an   overlooked   paradise in the Andes Mountains and   lakes    of South America, yet only 3-1/2 hours from   Miami.
Cotacachi has been designated a ´Pueblo Magico´ by   the Ecuadorean government and is home to several   thousand Spanish Colonial descendants, native   indigenous people who are the descendants of the   Incan   Empire, and a community of almost 1,000   retired   and   semi-retired ´expats´ from the USA,   Canada and   Europe.   Spanish, English and Quechua   are the local   languages.
On the edge of town (a 10- minute walk to the   central   plaza) is Parque Shambhala - a gated   compound of 6   luxury, fully-furnished, fully-serviced   rental houses,   plus   the resident property managers ´casita´.
The gardens surrounding the houses are profesionally landscaped and maintained. Each house is tastefully furnished and equipped with custom-made furniture and draperies, beautiful artwork and every modern convenience from Frigidaire dishwashers to fiber-optic internet. The American owner, Michael´d Addio, is a former TV producer of 30 years in Hollywood, as well as being an award-winning designer and certified gardener.
